We breed from a small band of mares ourselves and have done so for almost 20 years and therefore understand the need for meticulous planning and care. We have experienced staff along with expert farriers to attend to the daily requirements on the farm.
We are delighted to have Cotts Equine Veterinary practice on our team. Our vet (John Edwards MRCVS) was trained at Rossdales in Newmarket prior to him returning to Wales to start up his own business. In case there is ever an emergency / problem we also are situated just 1 mile away from the new and prestigious B&W Equine hospital in Llantrisant.
We regularly attend training courses run by the TBA / The National Stud to keep abreast of the industry changes and in particular the annual Stud Farmers course held at the BRS in Newmarket which gives an invaluable guide to the breeding industry as a whole.
We are members of the TBA and also like to support stallions standing in both the UK & Ireland.
We can walk your mares in to any stallion standing in the UK / Ireland, or If you prefer, we have excellent relations with boarding farms in Ireland who can board your mares post scanning thus avoiding additional travel.
We can accommodate a small number of spellers at our secondary yard. If your horse is recovering from injury or is just in need of a short break from the vigorous training regime they endure, we can assist.
We are very confident you would be delighted with any our services and how your horses are looked after and look forward to hearing from you.
We believe that our paddocks and surroundings are a perfect place for bloodstock to thrive, our dedicated staff are on hand to provide top class equine care along with platinum customer service levels at all times.
We will foal your mares and ensure that they are given the very best of care pre and post foaling. Having cared for our own mares we realise and understand the prerequisite for attention to detail and dedication at this critical time. We will always keep you well informed of progress so that you are fully informed.
We can accommodate your horse if it requires nursing back from injury or is simply having a well deserved break, we look forward to hearing from you if you feel we can help in any way.
